Question about plate block stamps.

Hi Rising,

If you have a plate number block of 4 with the number attached on one edge, and you remove that margin with the number, it is no longer a plate block of 4, just merely a block of 4.

No, it has to have the number as well as full corner selvage.

Question about plate block stamps.

I assume you mean with the plate number on, which might for example have a number 1 in a circle? If you remove the plate number it is is no longer a plate block and in some cases such as Hong Kong a plate block that might be worth say £200 is now only worth £25.
