*Part of the "Tulip Time" festival in Holland, MI (about 20 minutes from me) is Dutch costumed people coming out to scrub the main street......complete with the official "Town Crier" declaring that the streets are dirty & must be cleaned.
It's sort of like our version of "polishing pebbles".😉
