I came home yesterday and seem to be doing well. Thank you for the prayers. Ike is driving me over to the bent & dent as they are having 1/2 off and they have the smooth organic soups in a carton that I love and also a lot of the teas that I like. They also have a lot of other goodies that I need. I did not expect to feel well enough to go, but so far, so good.
My surgeon told me that this is the time to let other people care for me and to take it easy. I need to walk every hour or so to ward off any pneumonia.
I am keeping all of you in prayer for your needs.
Have a beautiful day! :-x

Lynn, glad to hear you're doing better.
Youngest son has an appointment at 1 o'clock this afternoon to take a Civil Service test.

We've been having a mix of weather here today (rain, snow & sleet). Youngest son just got home from taking his civil service test and promptly got called into work from now until midnight. Guess worsening road conditions are expected.

Lynn -- Praise God that your surgery went well and that you are on the mend! May you continue to heal. If we lived closer, we could shop together -- you find good deals!
Diane -- Hope your youngest son did well on the test. Thank God for work for him. I'm sorry to hear your weather is rainy, cold, and snowy.

STRONG PERSON
A strong person knows how to keep their life in order. Even with tears in their eyes, they still manage to say "I'm blessed" with a smile. I just posted it for all you that are strong. God is good. Change is coming. God has saw our sadness and said hard times are going to be over. If you believe in Him, I have posted this for everyone who made me smile this year.
Thanks for making me smile.

We are very
concerned about another friend of ours who is having a very difficult
time. His name is Tim Meece from Ohio. He and his wife are part of a
gospel group and Tim underwent surgery maybe a year
ago that didn't turn out too well. He developed an infection along with
a lot of other problems, and has gone from being a heavy man to barely
weighing 100 pounds. He and his wife Paula are very dedicated Christian
friends and they are such a blessing to us and to many others. We would
love it if you would put them on your prayer list. God really needs to
intervene in this family's life and we know the power of prayer. Thank you
in advance for praying for them. We love and appreciate you and always
look forward to hearing from each of you. May God richly bless you
always!!! ......Terry and Janice

I have been selling on ebay for nine years but this last few years my depression and rough times have brought me to my knees. I have been selling on my ebay "stuff" in yard sales for last month mostly because I really needed the money. I am being forced out of my home and have no where to go. I have to be out on the 31st and I do not get my check until the 1st. I am trying to stay strong and believe God has my back. I hate my home so it is really not my home. I have had a slum landlord and the house in horrible condition. I still have alot of stuff left and it is suppose to rain this weekend so looks like now I'm stuck. I really don't know what to do and hoping for a miracle of some kind even if its not the one I want. I love this board but have not been able to access it with my new laptop. God bless you all.

If you have missed knowing me, you have missed nothing
but if you have missed knowing my lord and savior, Jesus Christ,
you have missed everything in the world
God is so big he can cover the whole world with his love
and so small he can curl up inside your heart.
Prayers for tim & paula and lord father praying for help for debbie.
Praying for all who are hurting and need healing.

Youngest son hasn't heard anything about the interview he had for the job delivering pool chemicals. He thinks he didn't get it.
I have been approved for Charity Care by the hospital that covers MRI's on Charity Care. Now all I have to do is make an appointment for my MRI.

Keeping all prayer requests.
Just wanted to let you know that I am feeling well and am out of pain from surgery. I had a gout attack that required an emergency visit and steroids as I cannot take my regular meds since I have had this surgery. I have an appointment in a month and will go on allipurinol.
Debbie - As always, I pray that your problems would diminish and things would work out better for you but you seem to be having issues with priorities. You say you are being evicted for back rent, but then say that you are having a hard time accessing this site with your new laptop. Was rent not more important than the laptop?
I live on a very fixed, tight budget. Ike's laptop broke and he is using an old desktop we had around. Mine is the cheapest you can buy. We have huge insurance bills for the house, vehicles and I pay a lot for health insurance. It has been difficult even getting the gas money together for my trips to the various doctors. Ike stayed with a friend while I was in the hospital because each trip cost $80 in gas.
I pray that you will do better but perhaps you could speak with one of the churches about financial counseling. There are many good Christian financial programs out there. My daughter went with the Dave Ramsey program and is doing well.
Be blessed.
