Update on oldest son's colonoscopy yesterday:  Doctor said it went well.  He does have diverticulosis (?) completed by IBS.   Doctor removed two small polyps from his stomach and sent them to a pathologist for further tests along with some material he removed from around the colon, nothing from the colon itself.  Test results will be back in about a week.  He does have to change his diet, mainly eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and add more fiber to his diet.  He lost 18 pounds from 290 pounds down to 272 pounds (an improvement for him).  He's still nervous about the test results. 

His 'Type 2' Diabetes can maybe be 'cured' if he loses a lot of weight & foillows a diet / exercise plan.

The organs... heart, lungs, pancreas... were made for a certain size body... normal weight... when you increase the weight, the organs can't keep up...

My sister was tiny, she had Type 1.

She couldn't cure hers.

Your son is blessed.

We had a 1,500 lb. portion of one of our trees splinter off yesterday. I didn't even hear it. A neighbor is coming to cut it today and pressure wash the house. Ladies, if you have husbands to do jobs like that you are so lucky and have more money in your pocket!!! Thank God for good neighbors.

Hello dear ones!  Todd and I came back to my place yesterday and he left today.  I'm exhausted, but I sure enjoyed getting exhausted with my family!  🙂  My son and daughter-in-love's new neighborhood has alot of military people living there.  How nice that is!

Carole, sorry, I've been gone and have no updates about Pastor Chuck.  I will post them as I hear them.  🙂  I had an early Mothers Day with Steve and Tia and family the week before, and Todd had to cancel that, so it was a late Mothers Day with Todd.  We got to spend some time with Kylee too. Very sweet and fun!

Diane, thank you so much for the update on your son.  I have the same thing and feel great when I eat right.

Roy, seems I had seen a post from you asking how I was doing, then I got company and went out of town.  Thanks for asking!  Doing well, being off work!  Not going back.  I need the low stress life, quality sleep, lots of water throughout the day, eating well and having my life back.  🙂  I love getting reacquainted with my neighbors and meeting the new ones, too.  God is so good!  He will help me to meet my needs... He has promised.  I believe Him.  You sound good!!

Adrian- I am always happy to see you. I will pray for you. God has helped me find my way back after almost two years. He knows your every pain and sorrow. With me, I had an awfully hard time trying to understand-- I still don't. We just have to accept and continue to trust in God's goodness.

I am taking Hugh to his dr. tomorrow as a followup to his hospital visit and kidney infection. He had a horrible reaction to sulfa drugs he was given.

Thank you for your prayers for my brother, Jerry. He is in a rehab. hospital and will come home on Tuesday. He is eating better.

Prayers also for my SIL-Carolee. She is the care-giver and can be over-whelmed at times.
