Revising price when selling car by auction format

Hi,

I am into day 3 of a 5 day auction and still have no watchers on the vehicle I'm trying to sell. The vehicle is definitely in very good condition and I did my homework and set the price at what was typical for that make, model, year, and mileage. I'm wondering if I should just ride out this auction and relist it at a lower starting price or do that now (half-way through the present auction).

Well you can, but I wouldn't.

Remember first that only about 40% of items offered on eBay ever sell.

Then remember that most bidding happens in the last few moments of listing.

You may (possibly) already have bidders at your current price who set up electronic snipe bids days ago that will be executed in those last moments.
