Pocket Knife Assistance Needed

Can anyone assist in helping to identify this pocket knife?  It is approximately 4” Long.  There is an inscription on the blade “Ricordo J Malia” or something similar to that with a wheat or flower design under it.  My father in law past in the 70’s and this has been boxed in storage since that time.  Don’t know if that is maker or perhaps personalized knife?
