Info on Antique MLB Baseball Cap

Bought from estate sale.

Just need some info.

Its a raggedy hat  one tag in orange label says official new York's mets 

Second tag says Hatters cap and millinery 

Can't find much info on year.

The United Hatters, Cap and Millinery Workers International Union (UHCMW) was formed in 1934.

I'm sure the cap is authentic, but I don't know if there is a place to date which labels went into whose caps.

^^^ Afterthought... I'd not think you have a uniform/game cap, but a souvenir.
