Weight isn't even the biggest problem once you go over a pound. Weight is fairly progressive, dimensions considered "oversized" are a massive jump in price. Basically be careful shipping anything over 16x12x8 or similar size. Going from 16x12x8 to 16x12x10 is sometimes nearly triple the price.
-If you ever list anything big (over 12x12x12) I suggest looking into FedEx as an option.

31 of your 53 listings have "free shipping." Did you price the items high enough to cover the cost of shipping if you have to ship to a buyer in zone 8 ?
I rarely use free shipping. Instead, I use calculated shipping, so the buyer pays for shipping to his location. Many of my items are in the 2# range and the buyer is located on the east coast. Since I am located on the west coast, the buyer is paying the highest cost to have this item shipped to him. My profit is not reduced because of the price of shipping.
