I'm currently waiting for return of a package that was sent with media mail postage. The problem is that when shown the options for shipping, usps was the only option, and first class/priority was greyed out, with the tag that it was buyer selected... the box was 5x5x5 and came to $4 + with media mail, not allowing me to even select the small flat rate box which the items would've fit in fine, and which i planned to do. The items are heavier than media, and not media, granted, but i don't understand why the buyer was able to select media mail in the first place? or why was it even an option when the category was recreational gear?? The difference in postage would've been like $2-3, yet they waste the time and effort sending it back?? and not try to capture it from the buyer either... just dumb. no wonder the can't make money.

You mailed an item as MM that did not qualify for MM. Who do you think made the error?

As for the "buyer choosing'"........... that is just an eBay glitch default. The buyer did not choose it.

Sellers are responsible for shipping using the correct method.

I think you need to spend some time understanding the process of shipping.

I've never seen eBay only provide MM as a shipping option only, ever. 🤔

Apparently you can't read. If the category selected has nothing to do with media, why is it even a selectable option? The other selections were greyed out and not selectable, so that was the only option for usps. its more than a glitch.

There is no reason or need to insult someone here, especially when it's someone who is trying to help you.

As mentioned, media mail postage is extremely limited and the limitations are set by the USPS, not by eBay.

What were you listing and what was the exact title you used?

Please keep in mind that pretty much all of us can read.

Please post the item number of the item that had MM as the only shipping option.
