eBay Standard Envelope is causing massive declines in "Tracking uploaded on time and validated" Metric.

I noticed that more then half of my shipments using the new eBay Standard Envelope service are tanking this metric for the stated reason of "Uploaded on time but no carrier scan". I don't care to understand why that is, the service should just not be broken before eBay rolls it out.

I had perfect upload times prior to using the eBay Standard Envelope.  Now not even one month from using it I have an 89% for this metric. That means that unless eBay resolves this issue with the eBay Standard Envelope I will no longer qualify for Top Rate Seller status. I expect that eBay will clear up all those "Uploaded on time but no carrier scan" bugs in this service. At the moment, I am still getting them for Standard Envelope labels I printed even today.

I have changed nothing in my shipping process and continue to print and post shipments on time. 

I have also had a massive increase in shipping delays and even returns from frustrated customers using eBay Standard Envelope service. Maybe the most blatant issue is the claim made that the service will have tracking, when in fact there are no carrier updates while the package is being shipped.

Until that issue is resolved and the multitude of other issues we are seeing reported with this service I would suggest that sellers wait for the early adopters to take all the abuse and not use this service. Thanks eBay!

Preach!! This service is lacking! In order to get "tracking" the cards must be machined by the USPS, which is only possible by sending a card in a flat envelope, in a penny sleeve and some type of non rigid protection, less than a 1/4" , so it can wind down a 90 degree turn... no thanks!! That'll kill sales in a hurry. About 50% or better of the items I shipped were scanned at some point, and I was sending all of mine Non-Machineable, so that makes no sense? My Metric got hit, too! I spoke with one support supervisor who told me not to worry "it would not affect my ratings when the 20th came around"????? I am with you, I pulled the PWE ship option. The headache is not worth it!! I will be calling the magain to get it fixed!!
