16 envelopes total in past 22 business days with zero scans, no way for me to prove it was dropped off at post office (Service itself says no acceptance scans needed, so I drop off with post office teller daily) and no way for me prove the customer actually did get the shipment.
Out of my 114 envelopes that went missing in 2021 only 3 ever got returned back to us.
Like what do I do here? Screen shot our eBay messages from customer stating they've not receive and they see the tracking number has no movement and order number and wait the 30 days (super annoying by the way. I have to start spread sheeting my missing shipments because it's becoming way too frequent) to file the claim?
Why has eBay not clearly explained how this service works to its customers? For those of you who don't know the bar codes on these envelopes are scanned at major city hubs when they're on their sorting belts. The reason acceptance of package/shipment is not required by USPS is because their hand scanners the ones they use for First Class/Priority do not work on this type of bar code. So if your envelope is on this sorting belt and your bar code that is used for tracking is covered in any way it misses its scans along the way. Also, don't even get me started on how this service marked an envelope delivered sometimes days if not weeks or two before it actually delivers. I've had to just save a canned message to my customers to explains this **bleep**.
My store specializes in trading cards and low dollar trading cards, while the cost for this service is great it just scares me the amount of missing envelopes and non-scanned envelopes I'm seeing.
Anyone else experiencing this as of late?

16 envelopes.
How many of those 16 have claimed non delivery?

Dirk, in this scenario all 16 claimed to have not received they actually messaged us. I cannot pin point it to a certain thing though.
Not more then two envelopes from one specific day (Just for reference we ship about 10-20 envelopes a day right now) all spread out over the last 2-4 weeks.

From February 24th thru March 7th I mailed 20 envelopes using this system on this account. I actually went and checked.
All 20 envelopes were scanned, tracked, delivered.
I sell stamps. All envelopes weighed 1-2 oz
I ship 6 days a week and the mail is dropped in the drop slot INSIDE then PO and the
counter and employees are avoided at all costs.
Your problem is quite obviously to me at the beginning of the journey, Not the end.
My other 2 accounts which have similar sales amounts have also had no issues or complaints.

If all 16 buyers claimed non-delivery for the 16 envelopes that never got tracked, Then I would believe the 16 buyers were all being honest.
It sounds like straight theft to me. Somewhere between Your packing area and the sorting area (Or there) at the PO
the envelopes are being diverted (Stolen)
Once upon a time i had several items not get delivered. Never scanned. All were
sent on the exact same day to 4-5 separate customers. The orders were between the console and passenger seat of my car and had been there for several weeks.

I do not want to start a new post but I am having issues with buyers who pay separately and then I combine. I currently have 6 dings and 91% rate of providing tracking. Hello. I copy the number for the combined sales right on the ebay site with THEIR copy tracking. The one I print first tracks fine (well, of course some of these do not show tracking or even delivery but as I have not had any where is my item questions they must have arrived).
6 freaking dings for combined stamps or card orders all on their same tracking number and I get dings? I never had this issue with combined orders paid separately even on 1st class printed on here. I had to literally google an eBay number. She put down the info but the resolution team will email me (Not call me back) within 72 hours, they no longer talk to us on the phone.
I am so sick of eBay being the root of literally every defect I get and not being able to talk to anyone about it. The only solution would to be to tell the customer tough that you did not make all your choices at once, and now the $1 stamp needs a separate shipping and payment. ugh.
