eBay Shows Item Sold, Then Not Sold

A recent item showed that it had sold, so I shipped it as suggested. Now it suggests the Item was not sold (by asking if I want to Promote it). Did it sell or not?? I'm confused.  Or am I overthinking this?

What was the item? If it was the woodworking 2019 magazines, you sold a lot, but you also have a second listing that's currently active.

If it's not the woodworking magazines then how are you getting a suggestion to promote it? If it's through email/eBay message then that could be operating on a delay. If it's a prompt in seller hub then check to see if you have a duplicate listing.

Yes, that's the lot.  Thanks!  I will cancel the 2nd lot of Magazines posted in error...

Oops! now what? I tried to cancel the Lot of Magazines but they do not appear in my Active Listings?  I agree it asks to promote the sale.  OK some history -   I posted that ad with a start bid of 6.99.  I got a Sold notice with a Sale price of .99! I'm not familiar with ebay since all of their changes took place and assumed I missed something, so I shipped to the guy who paid .99 - if that wasn't a sale price it would not have his shipping address and I used ebay to gen a shipping label.  Something wrong, but I'm not convinced I double published..

This is your current active listing: 195837843266

Go to this page and end it: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/creating-managing-listings/cancelling-listing?id=4146

This is the listing you sold and shipped: 195815777039

You listed on 2 different occasions and seems you didn't pay attention to the price because the sold item was an auction at 0.99 and the active listing is an auction at 2.99 while you're saying you listed for 6.99.
