Why does eBay offer letter shipping options when it KNOWS my items is in a heavy package?

eBay knows the dimensions of the package I'm shipping, it even shows them on the same screen, but it suggests letters or packages with smaller dimensions. **bleep**. This is just dumb. What am I missing?

Same question here! I thought if I just clicked on "Buy shipping label," it would give me the right one based on the size & weight I entered, but it gave me the shipping for a fricken envelope when I have a much larger box to ship. What The Freak eBay????

So it is really that hard to just change the click? Something about mountains and molehills come to mind.

The listing had USPS Parcel Select Ground, which you can't buy on Ebay anymore, so it defaults to another service.

Have a great day.

Because you clicked on USPS, now you see all available fitting or not, options. You got to scroll down to other options and if there are none, you have to choose another service provider

Shrink to fit brother!?

Because it's bad interface. Leads to mistakes.

Something about being a pin prick comes to mind....

After my item was sold, eBay sent me a link to click to ship it, and it brings up the cheapest shipping label, with all of the other options hidden. I don't understand why they can't use the simple weight & dimensions to at the very least make it more obvious that you have to choose a shipping option that fits the data you already entered.
