Why choose Priority when eBay shows Parcel Select w/ same delivery dates?

I noticed that there are tons of items I’m selling  where other sellers are shipping with the “USPS Parcel Select” option showing the same exact estimates on shipping dates as my listings with priority mail. I have no doubt I’ll lose sales because someone will always pick the cheaper shipping if the dates are the same.

I have 2 day handling but usually ship out same day or next day. Why is eBay showing the same estimates times when obviously priority will get there faster? Should I just be shipping parcel select from now on?

Priority has free insurance and free boxes and envelopes.

You could offer both Expedited and Economy and let the buyer choose.

ESTIMATED being the operative word. Personally I would never use it. It gets even less priority than the lowest class of mail. If your buyer selects Priority DO NOT use Parcel Select even if it is cheaper. If I picked Priority and you sent it Parcel Select I can guarantee you would get a red doughnut.
