I bought something because it was in the neighbouring country, and it said: "Ships within 3 days", and it was a big factor in me buying the product! Now that message disappeared, also it says "eBay International Standard Delivery" so I assumed tracking number.
Now nothing happens and have no way to control what happens, so I will have to wait until after 21th of May, ebay says so, if I don't get the item to give feedback. And the seller is just a couple of hundreds of kilometres away in the neighbouring country in European Union, also I payed 40 for transport so I assumed at least some decent transport, technically it can arrive in less than a week for that distance if someone walks.
The only option it seems I have now is wait one month and a half. Is there anything else I can do about it?

Hi,
Contact the seller and ask him what is the status of the order. If the handling time is 3 days, then the seller will have to ship it within 3 days, otherwise he will see a red overdue notification next to your order information; in that case, you can contact the seller/eBay and get your full refund by saying the seller was enable to ship it on time. If the seller provides you a tracking number, you can easily track its whereabouts online. Simply contact the seller and ask about the tracking, courier service, when will he be able to ship it. I'm sure the seller can solve your issues immediately. eBay International Standard Delivery is also using USPS(I think), this service is very good your item will be in good hands. It offers better tracking visibility on eBay. Hope this helps.

if you wanted fast shipping I would have avoided this seller..3 day shipping is slow
I think one day shiping is more like it
sellers that advertise 3 day shipping are just going slow on purpose

The problem is that the dragging the feet like that makes me not trust the product in question even if the seller will eventually send it. In a few hours the 3 days will have fully passed, IMHO ebay should provide a button to cancel order when the 3 days passed. Also it is bad on ebay that he has hidden the ships within 3 days message. I will wait a bit more and send some emails.

now I know, In a few hours the 3 days will have fully passed, IMHO ebay should provide a button to cancel order when the 3 days passed and item is not shipped.

Check with the seller....that may have purchased the postage elsewhere and just not uploaded the tracking.

ANYTHING else you can do? YES,, quit complaining. The listing has an expected delivery date. The fact you paid a lot for shipping doesn't mean you get faster delivery.
You can't cancel because the item wasn't shipped within their handling time. The poster that said if they haven't shipped in three days you'll get a refund doesn't know what they're talking about. You can't ask for a refund until after the delivery date has passed with no delivery. The seller doesn't have to provide the buyer with a tracking number so you really don't know if they shipped or not. eBay lets you file a not received claim when the expected delivery date has passed, not when their handling time has passed. That would be May 21 if eBay said you have to wait until then.

I said I will wait by default but you are gratuitously rude I am not complaining I just want to know what my options are. I don't want faster delivery, I want delivery within the advertised text. How is your comment helpful in anyway other than scornful.

His comment is helpful by not advising you to do the wrong thing as the other posters have!
Be patient, and there is nothing wrong with a 3 day handling time
Sheesh

Am I not doing this already, waiting, maybe because I am not an English native speaker, but I found the tone of that post condescending.

This 100% not true. People have 3 day handling for a number of reasons. I have 3 day handling but usually send with 48 hours. I sell things that are more complicated to pack and also sell a lot internationally. How I pack can depend on the destination. I also have a PO open on Sunday so often a Saturday sale actually goes out Sunday.
To the OP. it's not the three day handling that's a problem it's the eBay standard International shipping. It is super slow. I have stopped using it as some packages were taking 6 weeks US to the EU. The packages, at least from the US, travel seller> to US post Office> DHS Depot> DHL Depot in delivery country or nearby country>to buyers country post office>buyer

Ues, you can ask to cancel the order I believe at anytime

Sellers who don't ship fast suck. Saying it's complicated to ship something means they don't know what they're doing, and they shouldn't bother their tiny brains. A buyer is right to be aggravated because the order is in limbo, unless the seller is decent enough to thank the buyer and give a heads up on shipping. Is decency so hard when after all somebody spent money at your store?
