Voiding Labels

How long do I need to wait for a refund when I "void" a USPS/eBay label? Is there a page that tells you a refund has been issued??

it takes about 15 days. P.o. waits to make sure that the label wasn't used before issuing a credit.

Considering that this was due to an ebay label printing malfunction - ebay should be the one crediting an immediate refund to our accounts for any voided labels - not waiting for a postal refund.

That would be nice, but the payment would have been made to USPS. eBay does not have the funds.

I have always gotten an email showing that refund.

ebay's error - they should be the ones to bear the burden.  Surely, ebay's cash flow is not so poor that they couldn't pay for their mistakes.   Besides if paying for a second label puts a seller's account in the red - you can be sure ebay will raid the seller's bank account.

As I said, that would be nice, but...........................

Can you see eBay trying to code that so that if "eBay" refunded the error you would not also get a refund from USPS?  Most likely their coding would end up blocking all refunds from USPS.

How would eBay code/determine if it was an eBay error?  How would eBay code to follow the process to see if you "use" the label that a void was requested on?  Unfortunate, but errors/glitches are a fact, and getting eBay anymore involved in the process than they are would just open up a real can of worms😊
