Voiding Labels

hi all!! why is there no way to void a label? I printed 3 on accident. I tried every step found on community and online and no option showing anywhere. I tried the manage labels area, nothing in action column. I tried the reprint label and looking on the right hand side for the void option and nothing.

What is the process for this??

Thank you all!!

Voiding Labels

If these were FedEx or eBay International Standard Delivery labels, you can't cancel those as you are not charged for them until they are processed. If you don't use them, you don't get charged.

There is an option in the action column on the Shipping Labels page to do so, I don't know why it didn't show up for you.

ESE labels are final sale and cannot be voided @nidza.

https://pages.ebay.com/sell/standarddelivery/termsofservice.html

"Charges for labels will be as set out in your order. Label charges for this program are non-refundable and non-voidable once the label is printed."

What kind of labels are you looking to void?

Go to "Orders" tab scroll down the menu to "Shipping labels". Click that then in the next screen click on "actions" next to the item you created the label for select "Void Label"

Hope that helps.

mine does not appear to have this option, not sure if it is the type of label I printed, basic standard shipping label for envelope.

thinking about the language though, it says "printed" I did not print but 1 of the 3 I ordered, I guess question is does printed mean I actually printed it or simply agreed to print...

ok that makes sense!! That is what i was wondering, another user posted the link showing them non voidable but if I do not get charged for NOT using them, I should be ok!! Thank you so much for letting me know that!!

another user mentioned that I would not get charged for the label if I do not use it... so might be good 🙂 I really appreciate your help here! this community is great, my 1st time using it!

it was the standard envelope label, appears I cannot void it but should not get charged if I do not use it, per other users posts here 🙂 Thank you for getting back to me!

The post you marked as the solution does not apply to your situation @nidza because you did not use either of the services that poster mentioned. You used eBay Standard Envelope labels which, as I mentioned above, cannot be voided or refunded.

If you paid with your eBay funds you can check your transactions page here and you'll see whether you were charged for just one or all three. If you paid with PayPal then you can check your PayPal account to see which one(s) you were charged for. If you were charged for all three, take it as a lesson learned.
