I recently sold two items on Ebay. I packaged the first and created and printed the shipping label. I went to package the second item and noticed that the same person had purchased both items. Now I want to combine the shipment.
So I voided the first shipping label. However, that first item is still being shown as 'shipped' and does not show up in the 'manage orders awaiting shipment' page so that I can select the two items, combine them, and create a new shipping label.
How do I go about showing Ebay that the item's label was voided and that it now needs to be shipped?
Or, how do I now go about combining the items and shipping in one package? I thought about just adding the first item to the second item and shipping it off. But when Ebay realizes the first item's label was voided, it'll show that that item was never shipped?

In the Seller Hub under Orders-Paid and Shipped, use the pull down menu to the left of the item and change the status to 'Not Shipped'. Print the new label and add the new tracking number to both orders. Easy peasy!

'Not Shipped' is not an option in the pull down menu.
When looking through my Orders-Paid and Shipped, the 'Mark not shipped' must only show up after a certain amount of time? I see 'Mark not shipped' in the pulldown menu for items I sold earlier this week and yesterday. 'Mark not Shipped' does not show up for the item I'm talking about or for another item I sold and created a label for earlier this morning. Frustrating that it doesn't give that option right away.

@jagerco ... 'Not Shipped' is not an option in the pull down menu.
You just taught me something. Earlier, I was using an order in my Seller Hub that shipped yesterday.
Let's think outside the box... maybe since your mailing label has today's date on it, that option is not available until past midnight. What would happen if you used order #2 to create tracking for both orders (in one shipment)... the tracking will load to order #2... then tomorrow you could use the 'Not Shipped', plus add the new tracking to order #1?
See if any better ideas come in...

Well, as luck would have it, the 'Mark not shipped' is still not showing up for order #1. It does show up, however, for the other label I created yesterday morning. Go figure.
So I think your idea might work. I can create a label for item #2 and add item #1 to the package, adjusting for weight, of course. I'll then get a tracking number for that package containing both items. I can then add that tracking number to item #1. I noticed that I can do that now, without having to have selected 'mark not shipped'. The only thing is that item #1 will have two tracking numbers. The first tracking number is the one that I voided. The second is the one from the package containing both items. That is, if Ebay will allow adding a tracking number that is already in use to item #1.
I've already spent way too much time on this. I guess the safe (more expensive way), is to just simply create another label for item #1 and ship it separately. I can't believe it's this complicated to simply cancel a label and add the item to another shipment.

OK. So I went ahead and sent both items together and added the tracking number to item #1. We'll see what happens...
