Usps awaits item

I purchased a ring from what appears to be a first time seller. Apparently usps has not received the item but tracking number is provided.  It had been 3 days . I have sent 2 messages to seller asking when my item will  be sent but no response. What is my next step. I really want the item

Your next step is to wait for delivery. If you haven't received the ring by one day past the Estimated Delivery Date on the order, you can open an Item Not Received claim. Good luck.

USPS has been known not to have regular scans.

Sellers are not required to answer messages, and this is Saturday. 

There is an estimated due date on your order. 

Have some patience and wait until that date. IF your item does not show up or show tracking scans by the delivery date, the day after file a not received claim.

It happened to me last week.

They sometimes forget to scan and you don't see tracking.

Went to post office and inquire and they said it is on its way and when it will be delivered.

Item got delivered and only post office going there in person shows tracking.

Couldn't get tracking from my PC.

My buyer contacted me and  I told them its on its way.

Some sellers are busy and don't have time to respond to emails.

I wouldn't worry about it.
