I bought a phone off ebay a couple of weeks ago and despite the seller's statement that the phone was working fine. It wasn't.
I initiated a return but can't print the return label, I get an error
"Sorry we're not able to process the label at this time, please try again later."
The seller isn't responding to messages and I spoke to ebay twice.
First they said to wait for 5 days for seller to respond, even though the return deadline is tomorrow.
The second time, ebay asked me to send the item myself.
Ebay never sent me any transcript of these calls , I have no record of this.
What should I do?

@vortexmak Since your label is just not printing but the seller provided it customer service should email you a PDF copy.
Call again using call us from the bottom of this help page:

@comics-scifi-collectiblesI called and CS tried twice.
They can't print a label at their end either but they didn't extend the date saying that their system wasn't allowing them to.

@vortexmak I am not sure what else to suggest except paying return shipping yourself. If you do pay return shipping yourself to meet the deadline then be sure to enter the tracking number manually into the case.
OR you could file a return request on paypal where they offer to refund you for return shipping.
Paypal has a "return shipping on us" offer for Paypal members with a USA residence and a USA bank account linked to their paypal account. They will reimburse you up to $30 per return for up to 12 items per year.
You have to activate the offer prior to opening a return case for an item that was not as described. Payment for the item must have been made using your paypal account
https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns
You have 180 days from purchase to file an item not as described claim on paypal.
Follow all of the steps. Do not let it time out. Ask Paypal to step in and help after 7 days if the seller has not refunded you after tracking shows they have received the item back.
File the claim here https://www.paypal.com/disputes/

eBay cannot extend the return window @vortexmak but the return flow allows the seller to voluntarily take a late return beyond the 5 business days. However, since our seller is mum, if you ask, eBay can cancel the deadline and open a case.
On Facebook, I sent eBay a brief message (so as not to lose their attention):
1. Please escalate return request #1234567890 (ten digits).
2. You've tried and confirmed label doesn't print; deadline tomorrow.
3. Case #1234567890, my eBay ID, my first and last names, my email address.

@vortexmak Here are the social media links if you want to give them a try as @nh7235 suggested. I do know that they agents are more experienced on social media as it's a promotion to move to that dept.
