USPS international tracking query

Hi there!

I bought an item via eBay and request the seller to ship it out to the Philippines. I expected it should be dispatched by eBay global shipping center. After I paid it, I just got a USPS tracking number and after that, I contacted the eBay consumer center to verify my item tracking updated. They said your item is not using eBay global shipping program. it is going on the USPS delivery system. So, eBay can not check the item status.

Ok. I accepted it. Can you help me, everyone? The USPS tracking is not updating like the below.

I want to know whether my item dispatched from the US to the Philippines or not.

How can I check it?

USPS international tracking query

I mail lot of packages abroad. Because of the pandemic, world postal services are limiting the scans of mailpieces. Before the pandemic, there were about 30 countries that were obliged to scan the packages at deliveries (DelCon). This number has been reduced to perhaps 7-8. A tracking number to one of those countries starts with LZ. All others start with UA.

If such a package is mailed from US in about 90% of cases, the last scan they get is from the the closest international distribution center, I am on the east coast so it is usually NY city. After then, there are rarely additional scans. It all depends on the receiving country, whether they will scan them or not. There are some, mostly european, countries, that provide additional scans.

Overall, even these days, the packages are delivered safely (I am talking about my experience). SO far this year I had only one lost, to CHina. It will take at least one month to deliver your package.

The bottom line is do not be worried, even if you don't see additional scans. You have to be patient.

I am attaching a screen shot of the packages I mailed to the UA.... countries. As you can see, all show they are in transit.  With a few mailed in less than a month ago, they were all delivered (except one to china as I mentioned)

USPS international tracking query

First-Class international to the Philippines does not have tracking once it leaves the US so there is no way to check where it is at the moment.  According to tracking it has been mailed so all you can do for now is to be patient. If you don’t receive it by the latest estimated delivery date you can file an item not received claim on the following day but please keep in mind that some packages are taking longer than normal right now.
