Has anyone else seen this?
I offer most all of my listings for USPS Priority or USPS Parcel Select Ground. I think this gives the buyer an option when selecting a calculated shipping cost.
However, I just noticed that the USPS Parcel Select Ground is available for me to select on the listing side but when the buyer picks this option, when I get to the producing the label, that option is NOT there for me to select.
So the buyer is paying for that service and my only options are to pay more out of my pocket for priority or another carrier such as UPS or FedEx.
WHAT THE HECK???
I have contacted eBay about this discrepancy multiple times, the last even insisting on getting a Reference Number for the request. I was told that I would hear back but I have not heard one single thing,
Typical I guess. Just like getting return calls in 2 minutes or chatting with a live agent in 1. Yeah right! That never happens.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Oh, and just an FYI. I can't change the shipping options globally. I've been told I have to change EACH AND VERY LISTING ONE AT A TIME. Whoever came up with this ridiculous change, didn't really think it through from the seller's POV, and they should be FIRED!!!

eBay has decided to phase out access to Parcel Select Ground labels, even though USPS has made no changes in their services or policies, and it's offered by all other online postage sellers including PayPal (at www.PayPal.com/shipnow ), endicia, stamps.com, etc. You can even get it a usps.com's Click N Ship!
eBay has not made any official announcement about this policy. The only reference I have seen is comment #15 made by an eBay staffer in this thread: "USPS Parcel Select is being phased out as an option for sellers using eBay Labels. This was due to it not being widely utilized, and having a higher rate of poor buyer experiences (more common INRs, etc). "
Compare prices before you decide to purchase Parcel Select elsewhere rather than using an eBay label for regular Priority Mail. The USPS online price for Priority Mail is sometimes not much more than Parcel Select Ground, especially for lighter weights and closer Zones. If you're a TRS you get a 3% discount when purchasing Priority labels through eBay.

I find this really inconvenient to eliminate such a vital method of shipping. Without any explanation
it seems that Ebay must really be struggling to find its way in the business world.

@johnc5890 You are responding to a thread from January 2022. Not only did eBay eventually reverse this policy in response to clamoring sellers, but the USPS service called "Parcel Select" doesn't even exist any more.
