Anybody else wondering how your going to survive with the latest price increases? This is crazy! 2 ounces 3.36 local. Unbelievable. May have to change strategy.

Price increases across the board, almost $4 for first class, PSFRB and PFRE's are $8.50...
It's bad.
Have no choice, pass the cost on to the consumer.

I've had really good luck with USPS, and ship with them exclusively. My shipping prices reflect it, but I sleep nights.

I hope your new strategy is to raise shipping prices by at least the same amount.

Easier said then done. I always try to beat Amazon pricing and these increases make it tough. 15 ounce bottle of shampoo cost $6 bucks

My buyers will have to pay a bit more in shipping. If I can't survive as seller because of that, then that means I was in serious trouble to begin with.

Don't they have the same problem?

One should already have high enough gross profit margins selling here on Ebay that the postal increases should hurt but not be an existential threat to your ability to survive.

No, I don't think about how I will survive per say. I plan and scheme on how I will bring in more sales while covering costs. After ten years of postage price increases you just roll with the inflation. I was thinking about how in 2011 when I started I was charging $2.48 for up to four ounces with tracking and pocketing 17 cents on each mailing. That was for 3000 miles. Now it's $3.79 to break even.

Alas! If you can't pass the increase costs on to your customers your business model is probably flawed. Either that or the product that you're selling just isn't profitable so you need to find one that is or call it a day and close shop.

Nobody absorbs costs. Pass them on. Sales may suffer, but everyone is in the same boat.

Here is eBays announcement on the USPS & Fed Ex holiday surcharges. Then get ready for annual usual price increases by all carriers in late Dec '21 and mid January '22.
Yesterday evening drove by our local Kroger fueling station and noticed that a gallon of regular gas was $2.97 9/10. About 20 minutes later I drove buy the same Kroger station and the price was now $3.09 9/10.
Fuel keeps going up and so does all the stuff in the stores - In my opinion Walmart's stuff (food and hard goods) has gone up 10% recently. Feel sorry for those folks in California and the Northeast statse - gas is over $5.00.
Sign of the times - get used to it. Looking like 1971 thru 81 again.

2 oz. package went up 30 cents.
My strategy would be to raise my price by at least 30 cents.

Yes, Dejoy has certainly been doing his best to destroy the USPS. Ever wonder why?
