I am in the UK and recently bought some items from a US store in mid March and had deliveries sent to me by standard USPS first class post.

ALL the four items (wrist watches) are still stuck at the outward despatch office!! The oldest has been there since 20 March at San Francisco and is not moving!!

Can someone tell me what the %$£** is going on? Ten days and not moving is unacceptable, Corona virus or not. If I had known it was going to be this bad I would have used Fedex or DHL, but I did not know USPS was going to be this bad. I never had any problems with them before.

First, the USPS does not have airplanes. Instead, they have contracts with FedEx (or maybe DHL) and passenger airlines in order to do shipments that require air transport.

Second, there are a lot of dishonest Chinese sellers who list items as being in the United States, but they are actually in China ... they get the package to California or Washington, and then ship using USPS from one of those states. So, if you purchased from a Chinese seller, then your package is likely sitting in China ... most all packages from China are stagnant because of the lack of flights from China to the USA.
