Tracking vs. Not Tracking

As usual...tracking isn't working like it should. If NOT for the honest buyers I would be doing many "items not delivered". If tracking doesn't show as "delivered"...I am told it is considered not delivered by eBay.

I have open tracking on items from March 2023.

I feel like I am wasting my money on tracking. My items without tracking get delivered in 4-5 days. My items with tracking I never know...that includes "registered mail" and "priority mail". What's the point of tracking?

I haven't lost one item last year including up to today. So why do tracking?

I got positive feedback today of an item I was sweating bullets if it got delivered.

"Nice precancel error, thanks." I have no idea when it arrived. But it's was an honest buyer.

Item was just an envelope that went to Tulsa from San Francisco.

Tracking shows today "in transit to next facility...arriving late"...from January 7th...but got positive feedback.

Tracking vs. Not Tracking

When it comes to USPS delivering items and/or tracking on time it's a crap shoot.
I currently have an item out there somewhere it was scanned as picked up on January 26th nothing since. I no longer have my local PO pick up any packages, nor do I bring them to that location. I go to the next town over to a post office there. It's an inconvenience, but at least my buyers get their items on time.

Tracking vs. Not Tracking

It's the tracking that is scary. LOL.

I got positive feedback from 2 different buyers from Belgium today.

Items mailed without tracking....one item mailed Feb 1st and one item mailed Jan.27th. Talk about quick delivery!

It has absolutely nothing to do with tracking versus no tracking. If items are being delivered but not being scanned as delivered, it is the fault of the postal carrier for not scanning them the way they're supposed to. They are supposed to scan every single package when they deliver it.

I have had zero problems with things not being properly scanned delivered both when it comes to packages I've sent and packages I've received.
