Hi, so I recently purchased a 1st edition collectors rare stardust dragon card for a pretty penny and the item turns out not to be what it was described..It turns out to be a lesser rare card worth much less.I filed a refund request but that was shot down by the seller.I might also have to do with me choosing the wrong reason for the refund.I thought I didn't see a "Item was not as described" option so I picked Just didn't like it".How long should I wait til let Ebay step in? Or is it a lost cause and so forth? (The first picture is of an actual 1st edition Collectors rare Stardust Dragon as you can see it pretty holographic and the 2nd pic is of what I got.

Unfortunately you selected a "remorse" reason, instead of an item not as described reason. If eBay already closed the request, then it's over for you through eBay. You don't get another opportunity to open another case. If you paid through Paypal or your credit card, you have another opportunity there. Try to file a Paypal case, and select the correct reason this time. If Paypal won't cooperate with you because the case is closed through eBay, then file a charge back through your credit card.

If you win the case through Paypal, you have to pay the return shipping. Be sure to use tracking on your shipping so you have proof the seller got his item back.
