Is anyone here using the $1.05 PWE shipping option? If so, do you have a problem with buyers nit receiving their item? I sell sports cards and have had a few cases where I use the envelope shipping option and the updates never happen and sometimes have to deal with customers not receiving their item(s)? Help!! I don't want to have to keep refunding!

That is the risk that one must take for cheap shipping. It's inexpensive, but not necessarily the best option.

These tracking numbers are not USPS regular tracking numbers. They are scanned sometimes at "sorting centers" but often will not show "delivered". There have been cases where these are marked "delivered", only to show up to the buyer a couple of days later.
Basically, if you use this feature you rely on the honesty of your buyer. You can read about it here, and pay particular attention to the sections regarding "Shipping Protection", and "Filing a Claim".
Though the wording has changed a bit since las time I looked this up, eBay's suggestion of "working with the buyer" typically involves refunding the buyer for an INR claim, and then filing a claim yourself.

I have had three cards in the last week that are marked as delivered, but I haven't received any of them.
So, yes, this option is not very reliable. Also I had one that was supposed to be delivered about a month ago and have not received that one either. The tracking for that one never updated. Very frustrating.

I've found out that the only ones saying did not receive the card are people with like under 100 sales or feedbacks. I mean, I have purchased cards where they did not come and gave an extra week and usually come. 1 person I reported the card did not come and he sent me another one after already gave me a refund. I emailed him and told him and he said no problem. Just did that to see if you would email back when got the card. He did not block me. If they are under 100 feedbacks and say did not receive the card, I block them. When started doing that it has slowed down to a crawl with that happening. One thing I did notice was I've had multiple purchases from same buyer a month later and that happened, again said did not receive item. So blocked them and send emails to all the people I buy from to let know so they can do the same. It's suspicious when you sell to same person only twice and not received.

I have had no luck with the post office doing that with tracked packages showing still in process and then buyer not receiving the item. I have never had a refund from the post office. Maybe I'll start a company for 30% of the refund I'll work with post office to get your refund if not done already.
