A buyer sent a return request because "changed mind". This was on April 10 and I immediately agreed to the return. As of today nothing has changed from "return started". Will this eventually timeout or should I call eBay to close the request. My funds are also on hold at PayPal. Thanks.

It should time out very soon, it is supposed to be 30 days. In the past, I have found that if I call or respond to any of their messages, they extend the buyer's time to return. I'd let it go.

Do you mean calling eBay to close the return allows the buyer more time to return?

That has been my experience, yes.

That's horrible. Sorry to hear that.

An eBay request automatically closes 30 business days after it was started.
Perhaps you might remember on your returns page eBay saying you and your buyer have until May 22 to work it out. What eBay means is the request automatically closes on that date.
