Shipping low cost light weight items

Hi all,

I was wondering is there an alternative method to ship thats cheaper than first class for low cost items?

I see some sellers sell sd cards for less than 4$. First class shipping costs about 3.60 so im trying to figure out how thats done. Is there another shipping method that provides tracking?

I've seen sellers ship SD cards in a plain white envelope with a postage stamp. I'm sure they have to deal with a percentage of payouts for damaged product and item not received claims. SD cards shouldn't be shipped letter mail.

Some of the listings are probably sellers shipping from China even if they falsely noted their location as the US.

Those other sellers are just putting the items in an envelope with a postage stamp, No tracking. 
other than that there’s no inexpensive way to ship other than first class with  tracking.
