Shipping labels don't open in Firefox but Chrome still works fine 10-27-2022

When I click to purchase a shipping label, using the latest Firefox, it takes me to a label printing page, but the actual label doesn't pop up for printing, like it does in Chrome. I have to download the label, then print it from Acrobat Reader, which is awkward at best, since Acrobat defaults to the wrong size (fit to page) for the label, and I have to remember to change it to 100% before printing. This has been working smoothly in Chrome for years - the label pops up, and there's a print button, which sends the label off to my local printer. It's been a couple of years since I last tried this in Firefox, but today I was using Chrome for something else, decided to give Firefox another try, and it still doesn't work right.

What the heck? Did eBay really code this differently for different browsers, or is there some Firefox setting I'm not getting right? I've turned off the ad-blocker, and Firefox's popup blocker, for https://www.ebay.com, and the label window still doesn't open.

Does anybody out there have this working right? Or is everyone content to settle for the multi-step workaround? Or is everyone simply using Chrome for eBay? I searched the forums and found others reporting this problem, but they're all really old, with no actual solution, other than klunky workarounds. After years of this occurring, I was hoping maybe one of you has this figured out by now?

Check your browser settings to see how PDFs are treated by default. Sometimes an update changes your settings, or a browser's built-in PDF plug-in fails to work correctly. For best results, set your browser to use a dedicated PDF reader such as Acrobat Reader to open PDFs.

I was having so many problems with Chrome, Safari and such. My computer was old....not old old...but old. Bought a new computer last month and now everything works fine...And I will deduct my new computer when I do year end taxes from that 1099K.  I figure it was time for a new PC when I could do everything on my iPhone on my eBay app. and not my computer.

Neither Chrome or Explorer seem to be working for labels tonight.  Hopefully Ebay get this fixed shortly.  I have packages to mail.

My Firefox is working OK for this, but I can't tell you why! What I see is the pdf file for the shipping label to pop up on my screen and then I simply click that and the print screen comes  up where I can select with the document open . Then I click print and select portrait or landscape. I suspect you do have a settings issue but I'm not clear what that would be. There may be a setting for how pdfs are handled (open versus save, for example).
