Shipping item and when ready to print label invalid address.

I sold an item last night and when I was ready to print label it stated " invalid adress click change to revise"  I was reluctant to do that without verifying the buyers address and don't know if I click on it if I have to change the address or if it will come up automatically?  I have sent several messages to the buyer but no response and the item is ready to ship.  How long should I wait to ship and if the new address comes up automatically when I click change should I just ship it to the new address?  Never experienced this before.

The item number is 162670654557.

Invalid address" generally means the format is not correct and has nothing to do with the actual address. You won't see a "new" address." That said, you can make minor adjustments with no worries. As long as the city and zip code are the same, eBay won't care.

Make sure you eliminate punctuation. Always use approved abbreviations. Place each element in the correct slot. The easiest way of finding the right format is to run the address through the USPS "find a zip code" section.

Some people have said that a proper 9-digit zip code causes eBay's lousy programming to glitch. Try creating a label without the location-specific 4 digits -- but be sure to add them back in even if with a pen!
