Why shipping cost was very expensive in the srilankan post??

Need more info to answer. Shipping has gotten quite expensive. Also shipping goes by both size and weight. Packages that are large can cost a lot so ship even if they are not heavy. International shipping is very expensive with large packages.

Maybe ask Sri Lanka postal service?
