Shipping blindly switching payment source.

I know ebay does not care and will deny it happens however, I am checking to see if anyone else has their payment method switch from managed payment back to paypal without actually switching it yourself or any notice?

Yes that is what I am saying.

After you are forced into managed payments ebay will still use PayPal for shipping until you manually switch payment method.  Twice it has gone from mp back to PayPal without me manually clicking on anything.

I use PayPal on other platform so there is money available.  When there is not it will use PayPal's back up method.I have always had a pending amount in mp so available is not the issue and even if it was mp has the required back up payment method.

Everything mp does is tricky and to their short term advantage.

I too have waited until after payment to print shipping labels, so mp is not helping customer serve/experiment to ebay buyers.

Another tricky nightmare with mp is if someone pays you and then immediately requests a cancellation mp does not process the buyer's refund out of the pending balance, it comes out of your back up method.  Basically ebay requires you to cover a refund for an item that you have not received payment for yet, and then credits you for the payment once it is processed.

@usmediamass   OK, now THAT sounds like an MP glitch.  I haven't seen that.  When I signed up for MP I did NOT designate PayPal for any payment methods, none.  I switched to MP on the label flow and thus far my label costs have all come out of Available funds.

This afternoon is eBay's Weekly Chat, you should post this issue on the Chat so they can pass it on to the MP group.  It starts at 4 PM EST (Discussion tab then Inside eBay then Weekly Chat).
