I am frustrated that eBay has made it very difficult to ship back items purchased from a single seller in one package. eBay almost forces a person who wants to return several items at once to do so. This was not always the case. I understand that eBay has negotiated some discount rates with the U.S. Post Office. But, if eBay allows sellers to ship multiple items purchase by a single item in one package, it should allow a buyer to do the same when returning items. It's not just a matter of money. It is also a matter of waste in terms of having to use multiple packages. As a California company, I thought that eBay might be a better environmental steward. In any event, does anyone know the secret of finding the seller's mailing address so I can print my own shipping label?

It wasn't on the package that you received?
You don't want to combine shipping if eBay counts them as separate purchases. You'll need to have a tacking number for each item, otherwise the seller could refund you for one and nothing more.

I'm the opposite. I'm the seller, buyer purchased 6 items (same type, but listed as 6 auctions). Buyer returning all 6. I shipped as ONE flat rate envelope - ONE shipping cost. Appears to return them, he has to ship them as 6 separate envelopes - COSTING ME 6 POSTAGE AMOUNTS!
Isn't there any way to combine shipping back, since I could combine shipping to the buyer??????

I totally agree. I have four packages to return to one sender and now I have to pay for four USPS envelopes which at least triples the cost. this makes me not want to shop with eBay ever again.

I'm not sure who you are responding to but this thread is from March 2021 so any information in it is likely outdated.
