Shipping Labels??

So, I don't exactly have a concrete way to label what my question is as it's basically just a bunch of questions about one thing, eBay shipping and costs of Shipping Labels, so here they are:

- Why isn't Shipping Label costs *included* in the shipping price? What is the buyer paying for if I have to pay for the label myself? I've used sites like Mercari before and the label and shipping are all in one price I can easily set but I've not managed to find a way to do the same with eBay.

- How to include the price of a label for my item's shipping? Where can I calculate the cost of just the label?

- If I use a website such as pirate ship, what do I put in for shipping?

Shipping Labels??

Before worrying about your shipping labels, you might want to consider actually listing some items to ship. Your options will be available to you on the listing form.

Shipping Labels??

The buyer's payment to you includes the amount that you are charging them for shipping. Then you use that money to purchase the shipping label.

When you set up the shipping cost in the listing, you can choose whether to set a flat price or set up calculated shipping which will figure out the postage cost from your ZIP Code to the buyer's ZIP Code. This price will automatically show up in the listing. If you want to offer "free" shipping, then you add the shipping cost to your asking price.
