Need some help here. I don't see any way to send a buyer an additional invoice once they have paid. I had a package returned to me due to an issue with the post office, not the buyer but the buyer still wants the item and is willing to pay to ship it back to him but I see no way to do that. I tried sending him an invoice through Paypal using his phone # I saw on the order details page but I don't have his email and there is no way he can send that to me through ebay messaging I believe...can anyone help? Thanks!

'had a package returned to me'...issue with the post office?...never heard that before.
Item will state on it why it was returned...
A first return can mean a 'second return'...just saying.

Why was it returned? More info = better advice.

@daystarfashions Since you have an ongoing transaction the buyer should be able to send you their PP email address in a message.

Thank you! That is good to know about the email address. I was able to invoice them through Paypal using their phone number which was in the order details. I forgot though that paypal charges a fee and I gave him my discount of course for shipping. Good to remember for next time! Thanks for your reply!

Yes...it actually WAS the post office. This buyer is also an Ebay seller too. The package never had an "out for delivery" scan. The reason for the return was stated as "Moved..left no forwarding address". ...which was extremely odd. He went to his post office to find out what happened and they were not much help. It seems it never left his local post offic to get to his home...but was returned to me instead...he has lived there for 25 years...and receives and ships out packages on the daily...and never had this happen. Could have been negligence...or just a fluke thing...but it happened. I just needed to invoice him again for the shipping cost.
So...sometimes things like this do happen! I'm counting on that he will receive the item this time. We double-checked the address and everything is correct.

Was it a package? Before you invoice him, you should have a talk with a clerk at your local post office. If it was the post office's fault, they should resend it again at their expense. I have had this happen a few times (for packages), and they resent it without a problem, once the clerk looked it up and acknowledged it is an error on their part.
Oddly, I had this happen with a regular letter, and was told I would still have to pay for another stamp, even though the clerk acknowledged it was an error on the post office's part and not one on my part nor on the part of the buyer. It was only 68 cents, but I was still not happy about it... I was tempted to speak to the postmaster about it. Maybe I should have.
