Sold an item and shipped to MD ( in the US) and saw that i was charged $6.00 for international shipping. Called and was told that it does not matter where it was shipped but only where the person is from. RIPPED off and not the first time. They get to keep the extra money taken from my pocket!!!!

When you were with Paypal they charged 4.4% for buyers without a US Paypal account instead of 2.9% so the fee isn't new. MP does charge slightly more and unlike Paypal they specify that it is for an international sale.

Was that $6.00 for a shipping label? Or was it the FVF?

If it was for the shipping label then use a different shipping service. Pirateship, for instance, will let you create a label from scratch and bill you based on where it is going.

If it was the FVF then as noted above the fee would be for a foreign buyer regardless of where it was shipped.
