Hello!
This is my first time encountering this kind of issue so I'm looking for some advice.
About a week ago I ordered a chair from a seller.
(My shipping address is Cary NC, this is important later).
On Wednesday July 3rd UPS tracking said the item was delivered but I never got it, so I called UPS. Once I told the representative what happened and gave her my address, she said the seller/sender put the wrong address on the label. The UPS driver has also been unable to retrieve the package.
I also messaged the seller, no response. In the past week there are countless negative reviews along the lines of "Never received. Went to someone else's house. Seller won't answer messages!"
My issue:
Clicking on the tracking number on Ebay's Purchase History page shows "Delivered, Cary NC".
Looking at the tracking number on UPS' own site shows "Delivered, Durham NC" (Which is where the the package actually ended up. My shipping address is Cary NC). Now the latest update says "Please check back later for scheduled delivery."
I opened a "item not recieved" claim, but in 48 hours when Ebay reviews it, I'm afraid they'll see the "Delivered Cary NC" on their own site and reject my claim.
Sorry, that was pretty long but is there anything I can do in this situation?
Thank you.

UPS is showing item delivered to Durham NC, you can Telephone ebay and speak with a customer service rep to straighten out the delivery issue.

Also get the particulars of the package, size and weight from UPS. I'd just bet it wasn't anything "chair" sized, Most likely something small and inexpensive to ship.

Possibly, but this doesn't sound like the kind of item that gets scammed with a trinket delivered to somewhere else in the buyer's ZIP code.
In addition, Durham, NC ZIP codes are 277xx; Cary, NC ZIP codes are 275xx, so I would expect that the OP should win an Item Not Received dispute, as the delivery did not occur in his City and ZIP.
