Since I can't call Ebay right now, I emailed them which was several days ago but have not heard back yet so I am hoping someone can advise me. I sold a pair of shoes in excellent condition. Several days ago I got a request for a return and a very rude email from the buyer saying that I sent them defective shoes. They attached photos of the shoes. They were completely destroyed. They were accusing me of sending them the shoes in that condition. They gave the reason for return as "not as described". I don't know what to do. I don't have a problem with issuing a return if they didn't fit or if the fault was mine but this person is clearly being dishonest. I have attached photos. The first two are my photos and the last two are the photos the buyer sent. Does anyone have advice? Thank you.

Accept the return, provide return shipping and give a full refund once the shoes are returned, or refund buyer and let them keep the shoes.

You will lose a case if it goes to that and you also will get an account defect and lose your fees.
