I recieved the wrong item from the seller. I ordered a V2 of the product and got a V1 instead. I was not aware it was the wrong product until i was done building it. The V1 and V2 are very very similar. So now I have a V1 of the product sitting here completely built and the seller has agreed to a refund. The question i have is can i get all the money back once i disassemble and return? This item had very small pieces that where sectioned out in their own bags. I am not able to get the correct items in their respective bags. I am reluctant to speak with the seller until I understand where i stand. I would contact eBay but I cannot locate an email for them. Anyone have any idea about this that could give some idea of where i stand? Obviously not asking advice but suggestions are welcome.

All I'm going to say is that, technically, the item supposed to be returned in the same condition it was sent.
It sounds like the item was packaged. Did it not say on the box which version it was?

1. You cannot e-mail eBay
2. You can call them here is a link to the CS number. Call them and plead you case - https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=ebay+customer+service+phone+number.
You can get to this number via the Help & Contact tab on the upper left side of your eBay page.

If you opened and assembled an item that does not come assembled before you figured out it wasn't the right one...it is doubtful that you even qualify for the MBG now.
