Return Shipping Questions

I'm the buyer and have started the return process.  I am responsible for return shipping.  eBay is asking me to print a return label (USPS), then the postage will be deducted from my refund.  I'm nervous about this whole process.  Its an expensive & large item.   The shipper sent it to me through UPS.  I have the box it was shipped to me in, but not all the packaging material (kids had fun popping it all).

Here are my questions:

1)  Should I be returning it using UPS since that's the way the seller sent it to me?

2) If USPS is cheaper....great!  But I want to make sure it gets there and I get my refund.

3)  IF I used the label will I be able to add insurance?

4)  Should I be asking USPS to pack it for me?  Do they even do that?  I feel like my Post Office is so hands off I can't imagine they would pack it for me?

I just want to make sure I package this right and get my return.  I've never shipped something other than with the flat rate USPS boxes.  I feel super needy here but can anyone with experience give me some advice, please?

The fee eBay is listing to ship through USPS is lower than I'd expect.

Return Shipping Questions

A quick trip to the office supply store would be cheaper, but a UPS store will pack it for you, and guarentee it, but at a price. They can also add insurance.

As for who to ship it back with-I wouldn't care.  I'd vote to go cheaper, since you have to pay for it anyway.  If you use eBay's label, no, you cannot add insurance.

The post office will not pack.  Asking them to mail it is about as much as you can hope for.

Best of luck,
