Refund failed? No idea why?

Hi, I tried to refund a buyer tonight and I got a message that"there was a problem sending your refund to the buyer"

 Ive tried several times.. More than enough money in paypal to issue the refund.No problems with my ebay or paypal accounts..All in good standing.Anyone had this happen before?

Did you check your Paypal account to see if it processed? And if not use Paypal ( if you were using eBay). Buyer might have use a bucks certificate. If they did you have to call ebay refund by send money tab in paypal and then give eBay CS rep the transaction ID number. aswe

Thanks it was eBay. Has not processed on the PayPal side. I'm going to call them. I'm just perplexed. I've never saw this before. I've been asked for very few refunds over the years so it's not something I'm use to doing. Just seemed odd
