So I ordered a pair of headphones from a seller which arrived broken and did not match the description. Given that I am fairly new, after thoroughly testing them, I initiated a return process. Ebay gave me a message saying to print the return label and print them out. For some reason, this would not print. Each time I clicked print it would fail and say "we're having issues, please try again later" or something like that. However, that all changed this morning when I received a refund. Now, every time I click on return status, from the link in the message or purchase history, instead of taking me to the return label print page, it now takes me to a page saying "You got a refund!" I no longer have the option to print a return label and I think it is marking them as shipped for some reason? (Under the item description it says shipped, but I never clicked the option to mark as shipped and I never was able to print the label) I am not sure what to do here as I do not wish to be a bad buyer, but I know from reading the policy it is the seller's responsibility to pay return shipping since the headphones were damaged and did not match the description. I opened a case with paypal in an attempt to figure out the return shipping (since it would not load, I did this prior to receiving a refund) because I saw there was an option, but it was closed when I received the refund.

Since you have already been refunded, you are not required to return the item. You are free to dispose of it however you wish.

As the previous poster mentioned, since you got a refund that is the end of it.
I can not speak for your seller, but if I get a report (and I usually ask for a photo proof) if something is broken there is no point in me, or any one, paying postage to return it. It is just going to get tossed. So I tell the buyer to toss it and not bother to return it. Might be the case here.

I see, thank you! That is relieving. It was just concerning to me as originally I was able to view the option to print the label (prior to receiving the refund) and I was afraid I had messed up in some way.

That does make sense. I was concerned as I thought the seller may want it back to either try and repair it or to attempt to sell it again as a for parts listing. Shipping was not too bad, but was probably about 20% of the item's value, so I can understand why the seller would not want to essentially pay double shipping.
