My seller claimed he could ship my item super fast by contacting his shipper/wherehouse here in the United States. He is from South Korea and I desperately needed this item fast , like in a couple days. I did not believe him when he told me he could get it to me Monday or Tuesday after I bought on Saturday. But he did!!!! Is he using Ebay's Global Shipping Program , how did he do it? I am so impressed and really happy. What a great seller. Any ideas on how a seller can get an item that fast to someone?

seems the seller already provided you with the "how" when they stated "shipper/warehouse" in the US.

He was not using eBay's Global Shipping Program. He bought it on another site in the US and had it shipped to you, he was a middleman dropshipper. You could have bought it yourself and saved money.

Dropshipper sellers can operate quickly worldwide so long as they use USA based suppliers like Amazon, Walmart, Home depot , etc. Almost faster than you can go get it locally for yourself. I like to refer to them as "buyers' agents" , or "personal shoppers" instead of real Ebayers.

His listings show he is registered in South Korea, however his item location says ships from many locations, United States. He has thousands of listings and probably does have different warehouses he ships from. It could even be shipped from Amazon if he has Amazon Fulfillment that is storing and shipping his items. I wouldn't care where it was being shipped from. He had it delivered from a warehouse closest to you and you got it ASAP. If you're happy leave him great feedback.

Earlier this year I ordered a lawnmower part from a seller in South Korea because it was the only one with a very good price. I was rebuilding my spare snapper mower (well, actually my friend was the wrench turner) and I was in no hurry to get it so I took a chance because it was the cheapest one I could find. To my surprise it came in 3 days and was shipped from New Jersey. And the best part was it was not some Chinese pop off junk.
