Question about returning items to the seller and refund

So i have an item i've returned back to the seller and he supposed to receive it today? Question is how many days does the seller have to issue a refund once it arrives to him and what to do in the case he refuses to refund me?

Did you file a Returns Request, the seller accepted and sent a prepaid shipping label for the item's return?  If so, then once tracking shows DELIVERED, I believe the seller has either 2 or 3 days to refund.  If no refund, you go back to the Returns Request and click the link to Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
