Question Over Refunds and a Refund’s Relation to Paypal

Hello,

Recently a seller wanted to return an item to me, and after the return was requested, the pending money in Paypal  (from the initial purchase) disappeared from the tab, and the seller said the money was returned to him. However, after the item arrived at my address, Ebay prompted I refund him. If I issue a refund, will I be refunding twice over because the funds were already returned to them?

Hello- What you've written doesn't make sense so can you please add more details, in order to get the best responses. Did the buyer open a return via PP or eBay? They are different companies so it makes a difference. You would know based on the case details then sent to you....

Yeah, they need to identify who is the buyer and who is the seller as only seller term was used.

I guess we could SPECULATE and give half azzed advice like SM does, but there seems to be a higher standard here.
