Does anyone else ship items first class letter ? How do you print your labels? I have developed my own software to do it, wondering if it would be useful for others.

I don't print out labels with postage. I print out the ship-to address as a word-processing document and use postage stamps.

Sellers who ship using first class letter will lose any Item Not Received dispute because they cannot prove delivery because first class letters cannot be tracked.

I know that,
I have two stores one where I am a top rated plus and I need to ship everything with tracking. But then I sell some items for less than $2 and for that I need to ship letter. I deal with the consequences of missed deliveries and returns.
Thanks

I plan to make a video of the software and share it to see if there is interest. Not something I plan to sell just want to share the benefit. There is no reason it can't be used with a regular printer as well since I have the ability to generate templates for different paper sizes.
Thanks for the feedback

Microsoft Word already does this.

Please don't waste your time.

How?,
It automatically copies the address and formats it to be printed? That's very good then.

If you are just printing labels for first class letters there is no need for any software other than Word.
You cannot pay for postage online for a letter. There is no tracking.
What you are proposing is useless.

Wow,
I am not proposing anything. So much negativity, it's amazing.
I developed something for myself, it saves me time. Instead of taking me 2-4 minutes printing a label it takes me 30 seconds. I am not going to get tracking on an item I sell for $1.75 inluding shipping, I know that.
I can see for what you sell it does not make any sense and I get that.
Sorry for wanting to share something that maybe useful to others, nobody is proposing or imposing anything here ...

Yes, you can. There is even a discount for printing First Class Letter or Flat online.
eBay and PayPal don't offer these options, but that does not mean that they are not available elsewhere.

I know stamps.com does, would be great if you can share someone else who does. Especially if they don't have a monthly fee.

Endicia, but they do have a subscription fee.

Same here. I just type the address into a word processor and print it out. Just like I did for years, before USPS started selling postage online.
BTW, did you know that eBay shipping allows you to print out address labels without buying postage? They look a little weird to me because the return address is in a larger font than the ship-to address. But they'll fit.
