Let's get this straight, so that I understand (Please note, Ret. Attorney, not paid to help, just an eBay user who is new to retirement with tons to sell/download, most of which is donated to a good cause but, hey, a little extra in the jeans is good for retirement, too, yes? All good). So, you bought an item and paid for it, seller shipped, but now thinking it's not authentic, correct? Item will ship per tracking and show up in your mail box, you inspect the item and have it checked (reasonable time to inspect / get it checked). If all checks out, great, you got the item you ordered, as described and all good. If not, then file a fake / item not as described claim and get your money back per the eBay guarantee. I know, when it comes to memorabilia and such online can be dicey, and dog knows despite eBay policies 'scammers' are here, too. That said, after a dozen years here I've yet to have a fake (they exist, I know, everywhere, but no problem with that, yet: then, as the old adage says, KNOW the details, inspect and if the deal is too good to be true, probably is), and hope that you are fortunate, and that your seller(s) direct and honest, too. But, if not, don't worry: per the eBay policy, get the item you ordered OR your money back. PERIOD. It really is that simple, as well it should be, and besto.
