Sold a 5kg item recently and as i was confused by these codes ebay put in the address I decided to use ebay shipping via packlink so it took me to hermes plugin and I printed and paid for label. However when hermes went to deliver item they said there was a problem with the Postcode/address and failed to deliver . I asked the buyer to clarify and it appears he had the wrong house number (1262 instead of 1202) so it seems packlink do not verify addresses exist like you do if you send directly through hermes site. I contacted packlink and sent them correct address but have not heard back from them and hermes have again failed to deliver and are impossible to contact.
I will not use packlink again
