Once something is listed how can I change shipping method before and item is purchased?

Ive got an interested buyer but they want cheaper shipping, I'm a fairly new reseller on this platform and can not figure out how to do this.  Thank you for any help.

FYI - I never change shipping options anymore because a potential buyers think the cost is too high. 

I have found that complaining about costs before buying doesnt end. They get the item and want more off.

Your shipping charges appear to reflect the cost of shipping.

I think your lack of experience on Ebay is being taken advantage of.

Unless buyers are also sellers, they often don't realize shipping costs and how USPS has raised rates over the years. 

I'd tell the buyer that you researched rates, set the prices for shipping and you don't make money on shipping. (You are allowed to add for handling, supplies, ink, shipping labels, etc.) You can't afford to reduce the price. 

I also suggest you look at the potential buyer's feedback left for others to see whether they've complained about shipping in the past.

As noted in the other post, you should be able to just revise the listing, to add Ground Advantage as an alternative to Priority Mail.  However, GA is not always cheaper than Priority.
